Sapporo Autumn Gold Elm This is a medium sized Elm with dense canopy when mature works well as a shade tree. Autumn colour is there too with brighter gold foliage than that of English Elm. 'Sapporo Autumn Gold' tends to have much stronger wood and a less-twiggy canopy which makes it a good option for streetscapes. Consider this tree for streetscapes and shade trees in parks and larger landscapes. Although it will grow well in most sites and soils, it thrives in soils with reasonable water retention and will respond well to regular irrigation. |
