Strawberry Guava This is a small evergreen tree, similar to Photinia that can be kept as a hedge. It bears small red fruit which are somewhat sour but sometimes eaten or made into jam. Makes an interesting hedge with the bonus of fruit for jam production. This variety is pretty hardy so it can tolerate a wide range of planting positions and soils with the exception of boggy spots.
