Mariposa Japanese Blood Plum Mariposa is a popular Japanese blood plum with dark red flesh and egg-shaped fruit. It has glossy red skin. The tree is covered in a lovely palepink blossom in SPring. An excellent variety for eating fresh, or in making preserves, jams and juices. Prefers a sunny position in moist but well-drained soil. Irrigate in dry periods. Prune to keep shape. |
