Japanese Crab Apple An attractive ornamental tree that puts on an outstanding floral display in spring. White and reddish-pink flowers are in abundance over this time, making it a distinctive focal point in any garden. A great selection for a feature tree in a small or medium garden. Could be group planted or used as in avenue planting. Prefers well-drained organic-rich soils in a part shade position. Also suitable for colder climate gardens, should cope with frosts and light snow. A slightly acidic soil is preferred, as it does not tolerate high pH. |
