This is a small evergreen Michelia with dark, shiny foliage and creamy white flowers which are produced in spring. Flowers have a delicate scent.
This is a good selection for a low scented, informal hedge as it responds well to pruning to keep its shape. Its dark foliage makes for a nice contrast in the garden. Prefers a moist, humus-rich well drained soil in a sunny garden position. |
