Silver Princess Gum This unique native tree is endemic to Western Australia and is a brilliant ornamental tree. It grows to about 8m before the foliage starts to weep. The young branches are red and glossy with older growth being covered in a white residue and finally peeling in curled strips. The flowers are stunning large showy pink to red with yellow at the tips of the stamens borne in Spring. A wonderful specimen tree. Can be used for parks and gardens or street planting. Perfect addition to any garden with interesting features all year round. Must have well drained soil and protection from wind. Prefers full sun, but will not cope with wet or soggy areas. |
