Young Lady Smoke Bush This variety of 'Smoke Bush' produces plumes of pinkish flowers in the most stunning way during spring and summer. These flowers smother the plant like smoke, hence its common name. Leaves are green turning yellow/red in autumn. Reaching a height of 1.5m it is more like a bush than tree offering great impact. A highly valued ornamental shrub used for its fantastic autumn foliage. An outstanding specimen in a hedge or shrub border, and a great choice for planting in groups. Will grow in a wide range of soils and climatic conditions but would prefer a full sun position in well-drained soil. |
