Description This tree is smaller growing with bright green flat branchlets that slightly weep. The undersides are often a dull grey colour and they are slightly scented. It has a compact pyramidal shape. Thuja varieties are immune to canker disease.

Uses Can be used for screening and great for smaller gardens. Ideal for formal garden designs. Responds well to pruning.    
Position & Soil Will tolerate most soils in a full sun position or partly shaded. Prefers well-drained soil but may need watering in dry periods. Responds well to pruning - prune in early spring before onset of new growth. Thuja is not susceptible to canker.
