Description	This is a large tree with bright green leaves that have toothed lobes. It has insignificant flowers in spring followed by brown fluffy balls hanging from the branches. In older trees the creamy white bark is dark brown close to the ground.

Uses	Great for shade or as a feature tree in parks or gardens. Works very well in streetscapes.
Position & Soil	Tolerates most soils in a full sun position. Tolerates air pollution hot and dry periods once established. Best in wet, well drained, rich soils.
