Description 'Sweet Carolina' is a medium growing evergreen tree to 4m tall. It has glossy mid-green leaves and stunning huge creamy white flowers with a heavy perfume in spring and summer. Light burgundy new growth in spring is very attractive.

Uses This is a variety suitable as a stand-alone specimen tree but also makes a lovely medium screen. It can be trimmed into a hedge if preferred.    
Position & Soil Performs best in full-sun position. Prune to shape in spring. Likes the application of a balanced long-term fertiliser. Magnolias require organic, well-drained soils with summer irrigation for success.
