Description | This is a beautiful very large tree with large leaves that have a lovely shape and smooth soft texture. It has striking orange-yellowish flowers decorated with flecks of green in spring. The flowers are solitary and sit in the extreme upper-most branches, resembling tulips, hence the common-name reference to the tulip tree. |
