Description This is a medium-sized tree that has an oval canopy with ascending branches. The bark is brown-grey with a cracked texture and the foliage is green and pinnate in shape. In autumn its bright green leaves turn shades of yellow before falling. This tree produces small clusters of samara fruit which is a small winged seed-like flowers.

Position & Soil A hardy tree. Tolerant of drought and low rainfall climates as well as frost. Is tolerant of sandy soils and salty coastal regions. Prefers full sun to part shade. Water in well when planting and keep moist until established. Formative pruning helps to promote good branch structure.
