Tree Ficus platypoda 'ST1' Rock Fig
Description This variety of fig has been specially selected and developed by Speciality Trees as an improved line. It has oval foliage that is thick and very heavily waxed almost like those of a rubber plant. It has a finely textured grey bark and produces tiny, hard fruits that are about the size of marbles. These fruits start off yellow and change to orange as they ripen.

Uses This tree can be pruned to shape for a waxy screen to 8m. It also makes an attractive specimen tree.
Position & Soil Prefers a moisture retentive but well drained soil in full sun.
