Description Banksia serrata is a small to medium sized tree with a single trunk, cork-like bark and deep green foliage. It is usually a gnarly looking tree. Leaf margins are serrated with lobes between 1 mm and 3 mm deep. It produces silvery grey flower spikes and cones. This species can generate well after bush fire due to its ability to store energy.
