Description This is a beautiful small tree growing to 5m tall with dark green pendulous foliage and lovely copper-coloured tips, hence its name. Small, pale yellow tea-tree like flowers cover the ends of branches in Spring. A native to south-eastern Australia, this is an attractive wattle with pendulous branches and beautiful weeping habit. The foliage on 'Green Majik' is an attractive grassy green as opposed to its lime green 'Lime Magik' counterpart. The flowers are soft yellow balls, speckled throughout the tree. This Australian native large shrub/small tree that has pendulous habit with lime green thin soft foliage. This Acacia produces an abundance of soft yellow flowers during late winter and spring that have the appearance of soft yellow snowflakes. Its colour and fine weeping foliage makes it a stunning specimen tree or contrast planting.

Uses This variety adds a pretty element to a garden. Weeping foliage lends itself well to soft, informal screening. Great as a feature tree in any type of landscape design or part of a larger native Australian garden planting. Bird-attracting. As a small feature tree it looks great mass planted in the open or under the shade of bigger, taller tree. Can work as an informal hedge and adds great texture and colour in all sized gardens. As such a graceful wattle, it is a immediate attraction planted almost anywhere in the garden, for contrast colour and foliage. Can also be used for screening and planted in rows for a hedge.
Position & Soil Prefers an open sunny or part-shade position in a well-drained soil. While it only requires minimal pruning to keep shape, it responds well to pruning. For best results, apply a long term slow-release fertiliser in early spring. Prefers an open or part shade position. Hardy and frost tolerant. Adapts to most soil types. Prefers moist situations and can grow very well in dappled shade. can tolerate most soils and pH levels. Can tolerate acidic to alkaline or light to heavy soils. Does prefer a moist, well drained soil in a dappled shade position. This Acacia can tolerate light frosts.
