Osakazuki Japanese Maple A neatly rounded tree growing to approx. 6 metres in height. Its green foliage turns a fiery crimson in autumn. It has a broad vase-shaped growth habit and is usually multi-stemmed. Clusters of small red flowers can be found in spring. A good selection in small to large gardens and landscapes where contrast colour is required. Can be grown in containers. One of the more hardy varieties of Japanese Maples and can handle the sun more than most. Tolerates most soils once established but prefers a moist well drained soil. |
