Omurayama Weeping Japanese Maple A beautiful Japanese Maple with bright green leaves that are distinctly serrated. Autumn colour is a brilliant gold, orange and crimson. New growth carries an orange tinge. This is a unique tree, suitable as a feature tree in small parks and gardens. Can be grown in containers or planted in rows where it will add great colour in summer and autumn. Once established this tree is adaptable to a range of soil types but ideally, a moist, well-drained soil is preferred. Avoid a location that is unprotected from north or west afternoon sun, or hot winds in summer as this may stress the tree or scorch the foliage. |
