Thank you to all the councils who participated in this year's 2024 Council Trialling Program event held last week at our nursery in Narre Warren East. We definitely discussed, reviewed and compiled - sharing valuable information about future tree needs and identifying potential new selections.
A big shout out to Meg Taylor from the City of Port Phillip and Steve Watt from the City of Greater Geelong for fantastic presentations on their own council trialling initiatives. Collaborating and learning from what's been done is vital to success with this program. And this shared knowledge leads to the sort of group discussion needed to embark on new tree selections beyond 2025/2026.
Taking the time out of busy schedules to get this forum is much appreciated, so we'd also like to thank attendees from Boorondara, Hobsons Bay, Maroondah, Stonnington, Whitehorse, Whittlesea, Yarra City, Hume, Glen Eira and Knox for participating this year.
