The Complete Solution

Complete Tree Starter has been designed to assist in the healthy establishment of trees and shrubs, reducing transplant shock and maximizing the speed of establishment in the landscape.

Complete Tree Starter works by providing nutrients which are required to minimise planting shock and encourage a tree’s root system to assimilate into its new environment. Our holistic mix does not assume that one element will be required over another, and so contains a dose of everything required for a quick and robust start in the landscape:

• Microflora for health and longevity with symbiotic relationships to assist in the breaking down and absorption of nutrients and general soil health,
• A balanced long term fertiliser lasting up to 18months,
• Micro nutrients and trace elements for balanced & healthy growth,
• Gypsum for additional calcium and Sulphur compounds for plant health and vitality aiding soil management and drainage,
• Water Crystals for absorbing excess moisture and nutrients, assisting soil aeration and rewetting,
• Wetting Agents to ensure even distribution and absorption of water encouraging the breaking down soil tension.

Directions for Use

In the landscape, dig a large, rough hole, approximately twice the volume of the original tree container. Remove the tree from its container and place in the hole, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the existing soil.  Back fill the planting hole with 2/3 of the soil, packing the soil down gently but firmly as you go. Mix Complete Tree Starter with the remaining 1/3 soil and pack down firmly but gently. Water in by building a bank over the tree’s root ball. Fill this ‘dam’ with water and allow to drain. To ensure adequate watering repeat this step twice. Mulching is recommended at this point to minimize water evaporation.

Application Rate

Apply 1 litre per one 50lt tree being planted.

• A complete balanced nutrient load for optimum plant establishment and growth for a full year
• Gypsum for strong growth and aids drainage
• Wetting agent to prevent hydrophobic conditions ensuring water movement
• Water crystals for water and nutrition storage
• Composted bark as a carrier
• Micro organisms for healthy soils
• NPK 1.5-0.4-1 + Trace Elements
